Abstract Art - Supporting homeless pets

Life isn't smooth, but it is beautiful.  And so are these paintings.  I started this body of work just abstracting ideas in texture and color.  I've moved more recently to abstracting objects with texture, messy line, and color.  I make these original paintings on either wood panels (heavy texture) or on yupo paper (no texture).  I love this process and the results.

Because I love animals and I want to do more to support those creatures we've domesticated, but not treated with compassion, I'm using sales of this art to support Furkids.  That's a local non-profit, no-kill shelter in Atlanta, GA.  I volunteer there regularly and I've also adopted 3 of my own furkids from the organization because I love the work they do.
