Work that is a bit abstracted, but not enough to not recognize the subject. This work is heavily textured. Painted with professional quality acrylic paints and varnished with a high gloss varnish. I paint on wood panels so the substrate will not move or crack the underlying texture and the painting will stand the test of time.
These paintings support charities that help families adopt from foster care. This is a cause that is very near and dear to me as I've used these charities to learn through my own adoption journey. And I'm super-blessed with watching two amazing children grow as our family has grown.
